Lovely staff. Very polite and helpful. Overall for location, value for money London standard!

Location is not very far from underground and it's walkable with luggage. Area feels safe with enough restaurants and shops close by for anything and everything. Breakfast is decent. Not too many options, but enough for an average breakfast. The room was neat and from safe to bed side lamps, to air conditioner to tea/coffee kettle, everything was there

Room was on the top floor and last floor you need to haul the suitcase through narrow winding stairs. Not comfortable for most, impossible for older people. The room itself was cramped. I was given a double bed and I was single so it worked out fine. However with two people and in case of 2 suitcase, you can't open both the suitcase I think!!

Cosy comfort in a convenient location

The location was very convenient from Paddington Station. Room was clean and a had comfortable bed. Though a tight fit for two, it was functional with room under the bed to store our suitcases and be out of the way. It had a small fridge, which was unexpected. Breakfast was a small buffet with a good selection of food. Staff were all very helpful and friendly!

Fab Central base to explore all aspects of the City

Location is amazing, few mins walk from Paddington and Hyde Park and several buses routes. Staff were perfect - everyone worked great as a team - kind, helpful and knowledgeable:-) rooms compact but all we needed was a place to sleep :-) Breakfast was simple but totally adequate and more than expected ... bonus :-)

Mediocre hotel with great location

The location was superb, five minute walking time from Paddington Station (underground and trains). Breakfast was more than i expected and the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

The Room and Bathroom was very tiny and almost too small for two people, only travelling with carry-on luggage. The window didn’t open.

Good value for money only if you get a deal on Booking, otherwise - it's pricey for okey'ish quality

Location is very convenient - 5 min from major transport hub, Paddington Station. The room was tiny and had extra bed (which we did not need but which occupied more space). However, the sheets were clean and overall the room was clean. The window did not open.

The elevator did not work and the stairs are steep and narrow. The only veggies for breakfast are tiny plastic tomatoes, more variety would be appreciated.

Very Good

Location is excellent, near both Paddington station and Lancaster Gate underground. This gives direct access to the central and bakerloo lines making it great as a base. The room was compact but very clean and neat with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Breakfast is pastries, toast, cereal and various types of eggs plus sundries. All of it was fresh and tasty. The scrambled eggs in particular were some of the nicest I've had. Finally the staff were very accommodating and friendly. I would happily stay here again.

The room was very hot at night and I couldn't find any Aircon or climate control. Bring a portable fan, I'm thankful I did. There was a mini fridge in the room which I wasn't expecting but unfortunately it didn't work. This would have been a bonus for some cold water but everything else was perfect.

The property is near the tube station. Breakfast is good and the staff are very polite and nice

The room is quite small and there is no air conditioning unit in the room . The hotel provided a portable electric fan which is not enough especially we were there in the summer

Good value for money, property with really kind and helpful staff.

The property is located very close to Hyde Park as well as the Paddington station and thus it has very good connections with the other parts of the city either by Public Transport or on foot. As well the staff was very friendly and there is an option to store luggage even after check-out so you can enjoy the London while waiting on your flight without the need to take your luggage with you.

The main thing I didn’t like was the fact, that water pressure in our shower at 4th floor was really weak which makes the shower kinda inconvenient… but still manageable, you just need to spend more time in the shower.

Very Good

The staff was perfect. The room and the whole hotel was very clean and maintained. For such a small room, they managed to put an air conditioner, a mini-fridge and of course TV, hair-dryer and a kettle. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was good, not perfect, but for sure better than the average 3-star hotel. The location near the Paddington station is also a great plus.

The room was extremely small. This should not been seen as a fault of the hotel, as I was for sure aware that it was a 9 sq.m., but still the fact is that I had practically nowhere to put my suitcase. There was a safe, but it was also quite small and I couldn't put my laptop in it. My room was on the 4th floor and the lift goes only to the 3rd, and one floor dragging luggage over very narrow stairs was a bit cumbersome. Overall I wouldn't say it was a great value for money simply because the price was not that cheap, but if you manage to find a good deal, then this hotel has the potential to be quite a good catch.

Very conveniently located hotel, 5 minutes walking distance from Paddington. There is a 24h front desk, check in was easy. The room was neither modern nor old, but slightly small.

The sink was tiny, so water went everywhere. The room also didn't have a ceiling light, only bed side lights.

Ok, but wouldn't stay again

Location was great as we were at BST Hyde park, a short walk away. Check-in was quick and staff member gave us essential info. The room was comfortable. It seemed to be a family room as there were three single beds on the other side of the room. The bedding and towels were fresh and clean. It was nice to have a small fridge which was clean. We returned around 11pm and were able to access the hotel and our room easily. There was a variety of cold breakfast options including cold meats, yoghurt and fruit . We were offered tea/coffee and toast on arrival at the breakfast room.

The hotel has very small rooms and hallways and you could barely stand 2 people in the lift. The room was right next to the lift shaft and we were frequently woken by the "ding-dong" of the lift as it arrived at the floor. We weren't warned about this at check-in. The room we were allocated was too big for us (a couple) and would have suited a family better due to the number of extra beds. The room wasn't very clean, there was a sticky patch on the carpet near the radiator which I stepped in and my foot was covered in the sticky substance plus fluff and hair, the carpet didn't appear to have been cleaned very well. The wallpaper was peeling off the walls, there was a dripping tap in the bathroom, the shower had very little pressure. The paint on the window frames was peeling and looked like they needed some maintenance. I found the breakfast options a little sparse - frankfurters scrambled egg and beans seemed to be the only hot options. When we checked out I reported the issues to reception and she apologised and said she had noted them. It would have been nice to have been contacted by a Manager about the issues especially given the price of the room.

Very Good

Fantastic location , 4 minutes walk from Paddington , bar's and restaurants all nearby and of course the Heathrow express , friendly staff ,everything was clean and new , , fridge , kettle , hairdryer , everything you need , , hot shower with good pressure , comfortable bed ,very nice buffet breakfast hot and cold, elevator, 24hr reception.

WiFi was bad , elevator only fits 1 person and only goes to 3rd floor, aircon is a separate unit and needs the window left open, bed base seemed to be homemade. It was all OK for me but if you are a large person then the bathroom is really small , no bacon on the breakfast buffet
